Healing Card 1: Your Journey
What inspired you to start your healing journey?
My healing journey started really in India where I met some people who shine with authenticity and light. They were an inspiration for me to really step onto the path of Bodywork, Meditation and Yoga. It deepened my presence, fostering a sense of lightness that allows me to shed some rigid conditioning I carried from Germany. It has sparked a joy and curiosity to work on myself and also supporting others. To inhabit the body, to feel and express more fully and to love what life gives. Every moment is a reminder to honor the process of becoming more aligned with your own heart and spirit.
Healing Card 2: Your Philosophy (Why)
What is your personal philosophy on healing?
For me, Healing is about connecting deeply with your body, listening to its whispers and feeling the energy that flows within. Through conscious movement in Yoga and the conscious touch of Massage, you allow yourself to release, restore and rejuvenate. It’s about acceptance, not comparison, embracing each moment with kindness and compassion. Each breath, each stretch, each touch brings you closer to feeling Home. In this space, you are invited to let go, heal, and reconnect, nurturing both body and mind with love and awareness.
Healing Card 3: Your Approach (How)
Which healing modalities do you specialise in?
My work includes Yoga, Yin Yoga, Mindful Meditation and Living Touch Massage, all of which focus on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. I love sharing yoga in a way that makes everyone feel safe, seen, and individually guided. Yoga invites us to connect deeply with our bodies and its wisdom, cultivating self-awareness, love and silence. It's about letting go of comparison, allowing ourselves to simply be, and letting meditation flow onto the yoga mat. In my approach to massage, I focus on supporting awareness of touch, encouraging people to tune into the sensations and expansion it brings. I see massage as an act of love, a chance to nurture and deepen the connection between mind, body, and spirit. It’s a practice of presence and healing.
Healing Card 4: Your Practices (What)
What healing practices are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about Mindful Meditation, including active meditations (OSHO) and sitting in stillness. Yin Yoga, where I hold stretches for several minutes to engage the subtle body and meridians, helps calm the mind. Hatha Yoga is also key in stretching and grounding. I practice Living Touch Massage with techniques like Holistic Massage, Deep Tissue, and Ayurveda. Additionally, Qi Gong is an important part of my healing practices.
Healing Card 5: Ideal Client
Who is your ideal client, or who can benefit most from your services?
An ideal client for conscious yoga and bodywork is someone seeking to reconnect with their body, mind and spirit in a holistic way. They are receptive to energy and open to sharing their experiences. I promote self-responsibility and my clients learn to see and feel what is, while being invited to understand the moving layers from a place of self-respect. This client may be dealing with stress, physical discomfort or emotional blockages and is looking for a compassionate, individualized approach to healing. They value self-care and are committed to personal growth, balance, and transformation. Whether they are new to or experienced in yoga and bodywork, they are ready to embrace practices that promote deep relaxation and overall vitality.
Healing Card 6: Client Shifts
What are the most common shifts or changes that clients experience through your work?
The most common shifts or changes that clients experience through my work are a deeper connection to self-love, self-responsibility and relaxation. They begin to trust themselves more and grow into their resilience. They learn to take things more lightly and trust the process of change, which is a significant transformation. Ultimately, it’s always about a deep letting go. I invite people to share their experiences and this process encourages the development of basic communication skills, which are essential for growth.
Healing Card 7: Nurturing Space
How do you create a supportive and nurturing environment for your clients?
I always take extra time to prepare myself and the space. This work is sacred. I want people to feel a warm welcome and an open, caring heart. I never judge bodies during a massage, but touch with care and deep respect. I love preparing a yoga class around special themes and sharing inspirations, music and meditations. I will never push people into poses or judge their performance. As an inclusive yoga teacher, I am not so much into teaching or preaching, but I love sharing an experience—eye to eye.
Healing Card 8: Your Impact
How do you see your work or location contributing to the wellness community on Mallorca?
In Yoga: Let’s not always put the physical realm first. Less striving, more joy and gratitude for the body in Yoga. More meditation also in bodywork. The art of witnessing what is, with a kind heart.
Let’s promote friendliness. We already have enough hierarchy in this world, so let’s step down from teaching to sharing and let’s meet to rise up. Let’s not do it just for ourselves, but for the bigger picture, for the community.
Healing Card 9: Availability
Where can clients or visitors find more information about your services or location?
Clients can find information about my services and location on my website: www.vira.yoga. Additionally, you can visit my site: Yinakademie.de.
Wildcard: Fun Fact
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
As much as I can be present and clear, I can also be really clumsy. It’s truly a miracle how often food gets stuck on my mouth or how I can be all over the place. I often laugh out loud when I say, "I am a certified Mindful Meditation Teacher," because I really know what it’s like to have messy moments in life. Hallelujah, I’ve got humour too!
Words of Wisdom
What advice would you give someone just starting their wellness journey?
Let the beauty in. Let love in. Treat yourself as if you are your own best friend. Really, be that best friend. Learn to communicate with yourself in a friendly way and find people who treat you well. Go where you and your heart feel seen and heard. Work on your heart and never give up on your capacity to wake up.
